Query: A London, Ontario Choral organization required a website to promote and communicate events to members and the public.
Solution: MLD designed a Content Management System allowing users with varying access rights to login for information pertaining to them. Administrative members can login and edit their website content without having to rely on an outside programmer. Members can login to communicate and receive notices about upcoming rehearsals and events. The result is a self-sustained website that features an online community for members, and also serves as a marketing tool for the public.

Big Sisters of London
Query: A non-for-profit organization in London, Ontario required an application to track volunteers and caseloads.
Solution: An Access database (desktop application), allowing users to manage volunteer contact information, caseloads and reports. Users can instantly view current and new 'sister' matches at their fingertips and print caseloads, statistical reports and waiting lists.

Query: A London, Ontario high school council required a website for sharing school information, relating to their child's education.
Solution: MLD designed a Content Management System (Joomla Template) that serves as a communication tool for parents and the School Council. Administrative members of the site can manage content on their own: post events, policies and supply resources. The result is a self-sustained website with news and resources for parents

Query: The London District Catholic School Board has 48 elementary and 8 secondary schools The Board required a system to support and track program services such as Special Education and ESL data. The Board came to us with a few spreadsheets and the project evolved from a desktop application database to the website solution below.
Solution: MLD developed the Education Data Collection Engine (EDGE4). EDGE is a dynamic, password protected, online database that displays board-wide data in a variety of formats. School, Board and Community users can login to the website from any location with designated access rights. EDGE4 also features built-in workflow processes, such as school inventory and Specialized Transportation management. EDGE4 is the complete tool for Boards to manage and facilitate decision-making at all levels.Technology: Custom ASP.Net web-application powered by Sql Server.
Retired Teachers Association
Query: The Retired Teachers of Ontario required applications to handle event management, tour bookings and member registrations.
Solution: Two customized Access desktop databases were created. The first was a Membership Registration and Tour Booking Database, allowing users to manage contacts and tour participants. The database tracks payment details, wait lists, special requests and more. A second Event Management Database was later developed to help this group manage their annual event with multiple workshops. Special features include mail merges, labels, the ability to export and import files from Outlook, Excel and more.

Query: Canadian Customs and Revenue required an application to manage CPP and EI appeals.
Solution:A criteria driven database was created to manage the process of tracking CPP and EI appeal applications. Features include lists of applicants and letters sent, mail merging and more.

Query: : A London, Ontario insurance company required an overhaul to an existing MS Access database to meet their changing needs. A variety of dealers needed access to company resources and efficient workflows.
Solution:A criteria driven database was created to manage the process of
tracking CPP and EI appeal applications. Features include lists of applicants and
letters sent, mail merging, automatic data filling form entry capabilities and
much more.
Most importantly, this online database includes a powerful array of intricate
back-end calculations retrieving insurance premiums on a case by case basis.
Combined with a simplified and intuitive front end, IWS can now sit comfortably
with the notion that all paperwork is unified electronically by this powerful
and resourceful engine.

Do Good Store
www.dogoodstore.com/Query: A website that sells products from different merchants to support Canadian charities.
Solution:MLD Solutions Inc. designed an E-commerce website where multiple stores can create accounts and sell products. The website is a Content Management System, which allows merchants to login and edit their own products and prices. Customers fill out shipping and payment information online and administrator's process requests.
The "Do Good Store" received assistance in providing additional complex functionality to a predesigned wesbite.
